Serving the real estate market of  the Fayetteville area, Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Bases for over twenty five years. When I wrote that statement for this little story about who I am as a real estate agent, I realized; that's a pretty long time to do anything in this world. Of course, while I was working to help thousands of families find or sell a home, I was raising a family, just like the folks that I helped.

Bill Mohler was my father and a real estate agent, starting his career early in 1962. He started selling homes, long before computers, cell phones or the internet. He told me many stories of the “good old days”, when the agreements needed for a home purchase could fit onto one type written page and a hand shake and your word was more important than anything that could be on that page. These days, it takes about dozen pages and that does not count the stack of paper needed for the actual transfer from a seller to a buyer. This is how I treat everyone, remembering that a kept promise, is worth more than anything that  I could ever give to anyone. I worked with my dad for a couple of years, before joining Century 21 Real Estate and later moving to RE/Max Choice.

Before I knew it, the real estate business became my career. It is a beautiful thing, being able to work at something that you love and able to support your family at the same time. I really don't think about being paid for what I do, I just try to do the best job for everyone that needs or wants my help. It all works out in the end and I make a lot of new friends along the way. Maybe you will be one that I will have the priviledge to meet and help in someway, someday. I look forward to meeting you soon.
