History of Van Buren, Arkansas
Van Buren, Arkansas ({{IPA2|'væn.bjuɹˌen}}) is the second largest city in the Fort Smith metropolitan area and the county seat{{GR|6}} of Crawford County, Arkansas|Crawford County, Arkansas. The city is located directly northeast of Fort Smith, Arkansas|Fort Smith at the Interstate 40 - Interstate 540 (Arkansas)|Interstate 540 junction.
