City of Arvada is a Colorado municipalities located in Jefferson County and Adams County of Colorado in the United States. Arvada is located approximately seven miles (11 kilometers) northwest of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the population of Arvada was 103,966 in 2005, an increase of 1.77% since the United States Census 2000. Arvada is the Colorado municipalities by population and is the eighth most populous city in the Colorado and the list of United States cities by population and is the 241st most populous city in the United States.
