History of Indianola, Iowa

Indianola is a city in Warren County, Iowa|Warren County, Iowa, United States. The population was 14,100 at the 2005 special census. It is the county seat of Warren County, Iowa|Warren County{{GR|6}}. Simpson College, a liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church, is located in Indianola. Indianola is also the home of the National Balloon Classic and National Balloon Museum.
