History of Bath, Maine

Bath is a city in Sagadahoc County, Maine|Sagadahoc County, Maine, in the United States. As of the United States Census, 2000|2000 census, the city population was 9,266. It is the county seat of Sagadahoc County{{GR|6}}. It was incorporated as a separate New England town|town in 1780, having been part of Georgetown, Maine|Georgetown since 1753.
