Concord (kän-kord) is a city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 55,977. It is the county seat of Cabarrus County, North Carolina|Cabarrus County{{GR|6}} and a winner of the All-America City Award in 2004.
