Recreation and Fun in Hendersonville, NC

      Don't worry about what to do in Hendersonville and Flat Rock
during the summer.  There is something for everyone almost every week.
How about dancing in the streets on Monday night to the music of local
musicians playing mountain music. Just set up your beach chair and watch, or
even participate in mountain dancing.  

    Then on Friday evenings, enjoy "Music on Main" at the
Visitors Center.  Listen and dance to a different band each week and enjoy
other displays like the Antique Car Show, or the Arts and Crafts Shows.
And you can't forget the Internationally acclaimed Apple Festival over Labor
Day weekend.

    Also, throughout the year there is the Gallery Walk on the first Friday of
every month.  You can amble down Main Street and visit all the art galleries
far into the evening.

    Hendersonville and Flat Rock are the places to be in the summer.  Mild
temperatures, low humidity and a barrel full of activities to fulfill your
interests.
