Valley Falls is a census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Cumberland, Providence County, Rhode Island|Providence County, Rhode Island, United States. The population was 11,599 at the 2000 census. Warren Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway was originally founded in 1839 by Oliver Chace in Valley Falls as a cotton manufacturing company, called the Valley Falls Company.
