Horseshoe Bay Property Listings

I am Nona Fox, a Mark Fox Real Estate real estate agent in Horseshoe Bay. I specialize in commercial and Ranches. Most of my clients buy or sell in Marble Falls, Kingsland, Burnet and the surrounding towns.
In the past few years, there has been a lot of talk in Kingsland real estate circles about ‘home staging’. Basically, this is just a new term for ‘presenting your home in the best possible way’. Some people with a Burnet MLS listing have hired home staging professionals.
I am not trying discourage San Antonio sellers from hiring a professional, but I believe that most Texas property owners can stage your home on your own.
If you have a home for sale (even a San Antonio foreclosure), the most important staging tip is to clean everything; especially windows. And don’t forget the screens. Potential buyers may not notice clean windows, but they will certainly notice dirty ones. Clean windows brighten your interior by allowing in more natural light.
In addition to walls, floors, carpets, cabinets and closets, take a look at your driveway. If there are oil stains, you may need a heavy-duty concrete de-greaser. Your driveway and front yard are the first things potential buyers will see. Make sure they aren’t turned off before they step inside.
I will talk about additional Burnet home staging tips in other articles. If you are interested in listing your San Antonio home and have not yet hired a real estate agent, I would love to talk to you. I can be reached at (830) 693-8884 (feel free to text your number).
