Lehi, Utah was settled by a group of Mormon pioneers in the fall of 1850. Lehi has been known by many names; for the first year it was known as Sulpher Springs, but it was later changed to Dry Creek and then Evansville. The town was incorporated in 1852 thanks to the local bishop David Evans. When the town was incorporated it was also christened Lehi after a patriarch in the Book of Mormon. Today Lehi has remained the safe and quiet town, located near many opportunities for shopping and recreation but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of big cities.
