Gardens are in Bloom Near Bremerton, WA

Summer is here and the garden tours are in full swing! This marks the 20th year for the Bainbridge in Bloom  Garden Tour. This event is  sponsored by the  Arts & Humanities Council of Bainbridge Island, which is near Bremerton, and is a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon. Here are some of the features of the Garden Tour, which you can find on the main website:

• Plant vendors to offer high quality plants for sale
• Free, air-conditioned Kitsap Transit coaches during the weekend tour
• Bike the Bloom- lower priced ticket includes map and bicycle parking
• Sustainable gardening presentations/demonstrations in four gardens
• Choices of refreshments in the gardens from exceptional local chefs
• Plein air painters painting in the gardens
