Wyoming
Wyoming is home to the first official national park, Yellowstone. It is best known for the outdoor activities, dude ranches and quaint population. Wyoming has the smallest population in the nation, perfect for those looking to get away from the hustle of city life. Buying a home in Wyoming often means multiple acres of land, friendly towns, and peace and quiet, along with all the excitement an outdoor enthusiast could ask for.
Wyoming became the nation's 44th state on July 10, 1890 and boasts some major historical highlights. Besides being home to Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming also claims the first JC Penney department store, and was the first state to allow women to vote.
