History of Green River, Wyoming

Green River is a city in southwestern Wyoming in Sweetwater County, Wyoming|Sweetwater County. The population was 11,808 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Sweetwater County.

The Mayor of Green River is Hank Castillion, who was elected in November 2006.
